ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
FRANCESCO VENTRIGLIA

Francesco is an Italian former ballet dancer with Teatro alla Scala in Milan, a choreographer, and artistic director. In 2010 he was appointed as Europe's youngest artistic director, at the age of 32, by the Florence Opera House where he held the role of artistic director and principal choreographer for MaggioDanza until 2013. In 2014 he was named artistic director of Royal New Zealand Ballet. He held that appointment until June 2017. From January 2018 he was adjunct artistic director of the National Ballet of Uruguay.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
NEIL CHRISTOPHER

Neil Christopher has been working in the arts sector since 1994, first as an actor and then as an arts administrator. Having studied at the University of NSW with a major in Theatre, Film & Dance, he then worked for Sydney Theatre Company, the Sydney Opera House, and UNSW. He then migrated his live performance experience into production and administration, working as a freelance stage and production manager, and later in ticketing and operations with Sydney Theatre Company and the Sydney Opera House.

                            Siobhan Lynch

Siobhan is a Sydney based dancer and graduated in 202 from the National Institute of Dramatic Art with a Diploma of Musical Theatre, and also from Sydney Dance Company Pre-professional Year in 2021, having worked with choreographers such as Gabrielle Nankivell, Juliet Burnett and Rafael Bonachela.
 
Siobhan undertook a secondment and understudy placement with SDC for AB [Intra] and Years.  Siobhan has also completed creative development work with Sue Healy and most recently with Chunky Move in 2022.

                            Isaac Clark

Isaac is a graduate of the Sydney Dance Company Pre-professional Year program, graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Dance.
 
Born in Armidale, Isaac appeared in Dance Academy the Movie, and has danced professionally since 2017 undertaking numerous roles, including as understudy for SDC Ab [intra] and Six Breaths by Rafael Bonachella.  In 2020 Isaac was named Most Outstanding Talent in the 2020 Short Sharp Dance Festival.
 
Most recently, Isaac has danced professionally in Turandot by Opera Australia, Rite of Spring with Byron Ballet Company and Peer Gynt for Endangered Productions

                         Bridget McAllister

Bridget holds a Diploma of Elite Performance from the Sydney Dance Company Pre-Professional year and completed the Annette Roselli Dance Academy full time ballet training program in 2017.
 
Between 2019 and 2020 Bridget was a company member of Bonnie Curtis Projects, and performed in many works such as React by Bonnie Curtis for March Dance in 2021, and has performed in productions by Alice Webber, Cell Scapes in the Wollongong Art Galley, and in the Moonlight Event Cinema Opening Performance by Mark Edmonds Productions.

                           Connor McMahon

Connor is an Australian dancer, having graduated from Ev & Bow with both a Certificate IV in performing arts, and a Diploma of Dance.

He has appeared in numerous productions including You Me Them by Holly Doyle, As Am I by Lucy Doherty and as a dancer for the Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler Australian Tour.

Connor most recently performed the role of Baby John in Opera Australia’s production of West Side Story.

                             Veronika Maritati

Veronika trained at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, and at the National Academy of Dance (Rome). Between 2007 and 2010 Veronika was part of "Junior Balletto di Toscana", Florence.
 
She performed and assisted in Francesco Ventriglia’s creation of Bolero and Carmina Burana in Moscow.
 
Veronika danced with the Royal New Zealand Ballet under the direction of Francesco Ventriglia, appearing in works by Ekman, Foniadakis, Stiefel, Scarlett and Ventriglia amongst others.
 
Veronika also appears regularly on Italian television, in productions such as Amici di Maria De Filippi, Skianto, and  Italy’s Got Talent. She has also appeared in performances for Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in New York.
 
Most recently, Veronika worked as the assistant to choreographer Luciano Cannito restaging Nutcracker for Tulsa Ballet, and appeared alongside Eleanora Abbagnato in Vivaldi’s Four Seasons by Giuliano Peparini.

                                 Hugo Poulet

Hugo is a versatile dancer and graduate of Sydney Dance Company Pre-Professional Year in 2021.  
 
Hugo was also a Finalist in the Genee Internaitonal in Hong Kong in 2018, runner up in the Cecchetti Medal Awards in 2018 and Finalist in the 2015 Isobel Anderson Awards.
 
He has performed in Eden by James Vu Anh Pham, Gabrielle Nankivell’s Modern Analogue Archive, Davide Di Giovanni’s Configuration Co, and Rafaele Bonachela’s Six Breaths.
 
Hugo completed an internship with SDC and performed in Ohad Naharin’s DecaDance in the Sydney Festival, in 2021.

                                  Zachary Healy

Zachary is an alumnus of the New Zealand School of Dance.  He graduated from full-time study in 2021 and holds a Diploma in Dance Performance.

During his time at NZSD, Zachary performed in such works as: Time Weaver by Loughlan Prior; Nexus by Shaun James Kelly; Concerto Pas de Deux by Sir Kenneth MacMillan; Handel: A Celebration by Helgi Tomasson; Round of Angels by Gerald Arpino; and Reset Run by Tabitha Dombroski.

In 2021/2022, Zachary was cast in a new dance film by Loughlan Prior.  Inklings was created virtually alongside students from Canada’s National Ballet School, The Australian Ballet School and The Ailey School. 
 
He has also worked regularly with the Royal New Zealand Ballet.

                                 Ginger Hobbs

Born in Sydney, Ginger initially trained at the McDonald Performing Arts College, and later at Newtown High School for the Performing Arts and completed full time training at Tanya Pearson Academy in 2020.
 
Ginger performed in the Imperial Russian Ballet performance of The Nutcracker at the State Theatre in 2016, and in the following year was cast as Muriel in Graham Murphy’s Nutcracker: the story of Clara, performed by the Australian Ballet.
 
Ginger is a participant in the Sydney Choreographic Centre’s Mentorship Program for Dancers, and Choreographic Master Program.

                            Ashlee Wilson

Ashlee graduated form the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in 2020, and has undertaken further study and workshops with Sydney Dance Company, Graeme Murphy and Janet Vernon, and Ella Havelka.
 
While at Rambert, Ashlee performed in Frederick Ashton’s Façade and Stream by Christopher Bruce. Most recently, Ashlee performed and choreographed in Doves and Dimes virtual concert in Orange.
 
Ashlee is a participant in the Sydney Choreographic Centre’s Mentorship Program for Dancers, and Choreographic Master Program
.

                          Caitlin Halmarick

Caitlin Halmarick began her full-time dance training at the age of 14 with the Conlan College in Sydney, Australia. She then spent a year at American Ballet Theatre’s JKO School in New York City and later received her Certificate in Dance Performance from the New Zealand School of Dance in 2019.
 
In 2020 Caitlin began her professional career with Ballet Collective Aotearoa under the direction of Turid Revfeim. In 2021 Caitlin moved to Brisbane to begin working with Brisbane Ballet. She has also performed  the lead female role in the Australian premiere of Lynch and Paterson’s Creatures of Prometheus.

                          Sienna Bingham

Sienna began studying ballet at The McDonald College then later at Tanya Pearson Academy where she completed her full time training as a pre professional student in 2021.
 
Sienna attended The Royal Ballet School’s Hong Kong summer intensive (2018), and White Lodge summer intensive in 2019. She was a finalist in the Isobel Anderson Awards in 2020 and was offered a scholarship to attend the IB Stage Gala in Barcelona (2019) where she was able to perform with dancers such as Marianela Nunez, Kimin Kim, Maria Khoreva and Alejandro Parente.
 
Sienna is a participant in the Sydney Choreographic Centre’s Mentorship Program for Dancers.
